Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 25 years of age.
Must have proven work experience.
Professional Business attire a must.
Team player that works well with students, teachers and office staff.
Must have Integrity & Professionalism
Dedicated & reliable, with strong customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have the use of sensory skills as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk and hear to be able to effectively communicate and interact with others.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including walking up and down numerous flights of stairs in case of a hotel emergency, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
We are seeking mature, responsible individuals to perform services as Seasonal Night Chaperones for traveling students. This is an independent contractor 1099 position. Background check will be required as a condition of hiring.
Seasonal subcontractor position (March – June). Location varies at hotels. The position will require new hires to work in hotel hallways during late-night to early-morning hours to monitor groups of students visiting the area on tours. Night Chaperones enforce curfews and control excess noise to allow the adults traveling with the tour groups to rest in the evenings.
Specific duties include: Completing written reports on the events of the evening, reacting to situations in the hotel that pertain to the students, interacting with adults and school staff. Workers must be able to function with little supervision and be comfortable controlling students of various ages.
Essential Functions:
Treat customers, vendors, and fellow night chaperones with honesty, respect and professionalism.
Provide the highest level of safety for all participants while they are on tour.
Follow the proper procedure for checking in/out at the hotel with the Lead Night Chaperone and meeting with the On-Site Coordinator or designated personnel.
Remain on hotel floors on designated hours; arriving at the assigned hotel 15 minutes prior to start of assignment.
Follow the proper procedure for introducing yourself to the Program/Course Leader.
Present a professional image and be courteous and helpful.
Maintain a professional relationship with students at all times.
Always follow proper procedure on assigned floor and during problem/emergency and any notification to supervisor for certain situations.
