``` Duties: - Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including delivery trucks, tankers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers. - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning. - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members. Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated. - Proven experience in route driving and navigating various terrains. - Ability to safely load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques. - Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices. - Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks on the truck. - Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively. - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations.
