The HR Generalist will oversee the daily functions of the Human Resource department including HRIS Management, Benefit Management, Leave Management, Onboarding/Offboarding, Recruitment, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
Manage the HRIS System Managing and documenting all personnel changes in system.
- Assisting employees with HRIS (login’s, password reset, training).
- Set up new positions, position families.
- Manage benefit profiles within HRIS.
- Create and send imports.
- Run ad hoc reports.
Point person for Benefits:
- Manages Enrollment/Termination of Benefits, providing forms and documentation to eligible full-time employees for health benefits.
- Submit OCA form for terminated, laid off, resignations, etc, to offer COBRA benefits.

Enforce company policies and practices:
- Reviewing termination requests.
- Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include but not limited to safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Recruitment:
- Oversee and assist with recruitment
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Experience in the field and role will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
