Job Description
The Financial Sr Consultant communicates financial results to business partners for key products, markets and initiatives, develops in-depth story lines to deepen client insights, and recommends creative actions to guide strategy and operations. This role formulates financial projections to predict and track performance, diagnose potential issues and prompt corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a pivotal role within the Investment FP&A team, responsible for overseeing and enhancing the portfolio forecasting model. This individual will lead efforts in forecasting all components of total return, including investment income, realized gains and losses, and unrealized gains and losses. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical capabilities, and experience in investment portfolio analysis.

Own the regular operation and maintenance of the investment portfolio forecasting model in Moody’s GGY Axis to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance under changing market and portfolio conditions
Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and other relevant information that may impact investment forecasts; incorporate macroeconomic scenarios and portfolio strategy analyses into forecast models

This position is a hybrid role based out of our Chicago office, meaning your schedule may consist of time in an office setting and time working remotely from your home. The hybrid model is intended to provide greater flexibility – and will mean something different to each team, job and employee. Office presence is driven by the nature of the work and team needs. You’ll work from home for the remainder of the time you’re not in the office. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $62,800 - 114,175 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
