The HRIS Analyst is responsible for advanced Workday troubleshooting and configuration in multiple functional and cross-functional areas; high-level understanding/configuration around security, report writing, and integrations; and support on special Workday projects and our HRIS ServiceDesk. This role will interact with internal and external stakeholders at various company levels.
This role is a fully remote position and can be located anywhere in the US. You MUST have Workday experience as well as absence and time tracking module experience.
Job Description:
- Design, develop and deliver various types of Workday configuration solutions and reports to the business.
- Proactively partner with the Reporting Analyst to identify and develop reporting solutions to improve Workday utilization, creating solutions that support metrics for HR and the business at large.
- Consult with the business to define requirements that shape informed recommendations and solutions
- Understand and interpret data in Workday to support key areas like recruiting, compensation, absence, time tracking, and payroll.
- Assist with implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, including the deployment of Workday bi-annual releases and the change management process.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues including data errors, security, process and integration issues with a focus on identifying the root cause and creative problem-solving.
- Serve as key point of contact to monitor service desk ticket issues and analyze for short and long-term resolution.
- Serve as an escalation point for system issues reported by users
- Ensure sustainable and efficient solutions are designed and implemented within Workday, including primary responsibility for data integration.
- Create and update documentation and training/quick reference guides for pertinent system implementations, upgrades and modifications. Provide appropriate communications as upgrades and modifications occur.
- Conduct audits for data quality/integrity and system maintenance, ensuring accurate data is delivered to all parties, including third parties.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships, interacting effectively with business leaders, team members, project teams, and staff at all levels of the organization.
- Perform impact analysis and design reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of Workday experience in an analyst or administrator role supporting core HR functions
- Advanced user-level in Excel and basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Absence and time tracking modules.
- Experience with capturing requirements and documenting business processes as well as prototyping and testing.
- Demonstrated ability to create, modify, and manage Workday calculated fields and security roles while evaluating downstream implications.
- Proven consulting and communications skills with a service-oriented approach to internal customers and peer relationships.
- Analyze sensitive and highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data and produce reports and dashboards that impact multiple levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes.
