Plentiful Catering and Events is looking for fun, friendly, food-oriented people to join our catering team as a Banquet Server/ Bartender at Plimoth Patuxet Museums. Previous catering/hospitality experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the catering team at the designated event space
- Maintain a professional and friendly appearance
- Take direction from Event Manager with setting room up with table or buffet linen, florals, china or eco-friendly disposable product (A facilities team will set up and break down tables and chairs)
- Provide excellent food and beverage service and anticipate guest needs
- Takes initiative to help guests and other team members
- Understands food portions and allergens
- Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the Event Manager

- Ability to work in a team environment with front and back of the house associates
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Must be self-motivated and organized
- Available for part-time, on-call events
- ServSafe and Choke Saver certification a plus
Working Conditions:
Direct contact with guests, clients, and associates. The individual must be able to push and pull items up to 50 pounds. This position will spend 100% of the time moving and standing. Events may take place in a tented venue on campus in summer and fall months and the individual must be comfortable being exposed to heat, cold and noise.
