Beacon Specialized Living Services is a leading national provider of residential-based behavioral health services and day programs for adults and children with developmental disabilities.
Essential Functions

- Audits and monitors areas of concern as identified and assigned by Leadership.
- Offers creative and sustainable ideas for pro-active improvements in the assigned risk area.
- Assists to oversee and manage all BSLS homes to ensure compliance standards are being upheld and report findings to the Executive Director of Quality and Compliance
- Performs internal audits and inspections as requested by management.
- Assist in developing compliance training materials and performs ongoing compliance training, as needed.
- Assist with the Joint Commission committees, work groups, and others charged with oversight of BSLS accreditation process.
- Assist in answering questions related to BSLS accreditation standards.
- Maintains and tracks Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
- Assists in Communicating and responds in a timely manner to Executive Director of Compliance and Quality all regulatory agencies regarding licensing, and complaints or investigations.
- Provides support in the supervision of programs within area of training and expertise, as requested.
- Be a leader in managing infection control efforts and compliance with CDC, state, and Beacon requirements.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ previous experience in a human-services-related field, preferably behavioral healthcare.
- Ongoing approval by Federal, State and local government entities to work at the company.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA, medical management, and care plan record keeping and billing documents.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi task and meet project deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
