Westside Village Maintenance Tech Job Description
As a member of the Westside Village Maintenance Department you will be expected to perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, grounds and structures.
Principle Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Landscaping and lawncare upkeep
- Implement preventative maintenance measures
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and carpentry repairs
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Daily grounds maintenance of community interiors, exteriors and common areas including Laundry facilities
- Removes snow and ice from required areas and applies ice melt when needed
- Responds in a timely manner to service requests with a positive upbeat demeanor, while maintaining professionalism.
- Travel to and from job sites. Transport materials and tools as required, including lawn mower.
- Some after hours and weekends work to respond to emergency as well as non-emergency situations.
Maintenance Technician skill requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to diagnose / trouble shoot malfunctioning equipment for repair
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, power tools, and small hand tools
- Have basic knowledge of general construction tools and skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Able to use modern smart phone or the equivalent in order to utilize our digital Work Order tracking system
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Applicant must own a reliable vehicle
Work Remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
