Miracle Minds Therapy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy social, emotional, and behavioral skills for children, adolescents, adults and families in Nevada. The organization improves the quality of life of individuals by compassionately serving their mental health, addiction, and community support needs.
We strive to improving the lives of Nevada residents through our community-based and school-based programs. Our organization believes in providing quality care to those in need, regardless of their background or financial status. We are currently seeking mental health therapists who are passionate about our mission and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
As a mental health therapist at our organization, you will be responsible for providing counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, and groups in our community-based and school-based programs. Your role will be crucial in helping our clients overcome mental health challenges, cope with stressors, and improve their overall well-being.
We are looking for licensed or license-eligible therapists with a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. We value diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
Responsibilities:
Conducting intake assessments and developing treatment plans for clients
Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions
Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
Collaborating with other professionals, such as school staff or medical providers, as needed
Participating in team meetings and supervision sessions
Attending trainings and continuing education opportunities to improve clinical skills and stay up-to-date with best practices
Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
Current license or eligibility for licensure as a therapist in Nevada
Experience providing counseling or therapy services to diverse populations
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
