POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of Business Office activities related to Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, and Payroll in an appropriate and confidential manner. Position reports to the CFO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Bookkeeping and Reconciliation: Assist Accounting with bookkeeping and reconciliations and data administration
- Human Resources and Payroll: Assist faculty and staff with benefits and other human resources inquiries; Be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing including management of all deductions and adjustments;
- General: Administratively support HR and Accounting as needed; Maintain records through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, updating, and purging; Respond to inquiries, resolve discrepancies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES – The Employee should possess:
- Ability to carry out duties and responsibilities with limited supervision
- Ability to make decisions and establish work priorities
- Working knowledge of Accounting and HR processes
- Ability to use computer for data entry, word processing and spreadsheet applications required
- Highly skilled in Excel
- Skilled in giving excellent customer service
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required
- Two years college with courses in business, human resources, or equivalent experience preferred or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
