Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Administrator to join our team at Bay 9 Holdings LLC dba Edgemere located in Dallas, Texas. The Administrator will be responsible for complete oversight of the health services department to include the health center, catered living, and independent living.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Assist executive director in maintaining licensure and certification of the community; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a positive relationship with representatives of governmental agencies who survey and inspect the community.
- Promote and maintain a working relationship with the community health delivery system.
• Conduct health center physical inspections; perform evaluations for State Board of Health inspections. • Maintain awareness of Medicare Prospective Payment issues which influence the operation of the health center. Maintain familiarity with the community’s Quality Indicator Reports.
- Ensure that corporate compliance and policy directives are implemented and monitored.
- Conduct in-service education for team members.
- Evaluate acceptability of outside private pay move-ins.
- Coach team members on a good application of falls programs, life enrichment and activities programming.
- Assist in development of community budget, prepare monthly financial analysis and cash flows, and approve purchase orders subject to Board policies.
- Provide direction and advise team members regarding electronic medical records and electronic treatments and pharmacy.
- Supervise assigned department directors; attend and participate in department director meetings.
- Provide coaching and development to leaders and team members.
- Demonstrate professional manner to effectively deal with families, physicians, and related support groups and relationships.
- Demonstrate discernment with resident and team member needs. Make solid decisions regarding care, concerns, and necessary improvements.
- Demonstrate ability to lead interdisciplinary team and coordinate with families, residents, and others to determine level of care appropriateness.
- Engage others through change, transition and team building and being a champion for change.
- Ability to train, mentor, supervise and monitor team and trends.
- Meet with residents to solve problems and concerns, assist in determining when a higher level of care is needed.
- Monitor in-service education for team members.
- Assist the executive director and director of sales with occupancy development.
- Participate in community activities and industry-related programs.
- Assume full responsibility for operation of the community in the absence of the executive director.
- Prepare and monitor an annual departmental budget which addresses capital equipment, personnel, inventories, supplies, and other departmental costs.
- Prepare and participate in cost control activities.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Possess a valid state Nursing Home Administrator License or meet the requirements to obtain or transfer to a state Nursing Home Administrator License within 60 days.
- Eight to ten years applicable experience required.
- A minimum of two to three years of management experience in a health care or life care community environment.
