**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Your role will involve overseeing inventory control, sourcing products, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with various departments to meet purchasing needs.
**Duties:**
- Coordinate purchasing activities and maintain accurate records of purchases.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Collaborate with vendors to fabricate custom orders and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage supply chain processes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with purchasing policies.
- Utilize purchasing systems to track orders, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports.
**Experience:**
Preferred skills include:
- Proficiency in inventory control and supply chain management.
- Experience in sourcing products and negotiating favorable terms.
- Ability to fabricate custom orders and work closely with suppliers.
- Knowledge of contract management systems and procedures.
**Requirements:**
Must-have qualifications:
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work within a supply chain framework.
- Understanding of contract management principles.
