Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Duties:
- Report on the performance of the Quality Management System and on opportunities for improvement to top management
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
- Ensure that the integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained when changes are planned and implemented
- ISO 9001 Audit and internal audits
- Present audit results during Executive Management Review Meetings
- Create and implement new documents, procedures, work instructions
- Provide approval authority for all documents/forms
- Issue and control all documents/forms as required
- Ensure all Request for Changes have been reviewed & approved by all Executive Management, implemented, and retained as required
- Assist the Managers in addressing customer issues and internal quality issues
- Ensure all documents, forms, logs, etc. being used are at the correct revision levels.
- Maintain a master copy list of quality records, Quality Records Matrix, indicating the retention periods and storage locations
- Oversee, schedule & retain documentation of internal audits
- Retain Corrective/Preventative Action forms and review recent CAF’s monthly for effectiveness
- Check/update monthly the Lift Truck license status, the Approved Suppliers List, and the Calibrated Equipment List and make updates as needed
- Assist the Managers in ensuring timeliness in Corrective/Preventative Actions being addressed & closed
- Assist in the resolution of customer complaints/non-conformances
- Dispose of records after appropriate retention periods have been met
- Attend Executive Management Review Meetings
- Ensure effective operation of the production lines and the analytical laboratory
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of common chemistries utilized in plating
- Knowledge of modern office procedures
- Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports.
- Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
- Ability to read and understand quality standards.
- Ability to establish priorities, work both independently and with other personnel, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.
- Must understand the company’s quality policy and objectives
- Must know where the quality policy is posted within the facility
- Must understand and abide by the company’s policies as defined in the Employee and Safety Handbooks
Education and Experience:
- Plating experience preferred
- Two years related experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
