Our client is leading global law firm that is seeking a Legal e-Billing Specialist as a result of continued growth. The E-Billing Coordinator will provide eBilling support to and collaborate with finance personnel, attorneys and client service specialist to ensure compliance of outside counsel guidelines for eBilled clients, complete monthly timekeeper maintenance for eBilled clients, assist with eBilling implementations, reconcile eBilled invoice short pays and rejections, and handle special requests and projects.
In this capacity, the E-Billing Coordinator will:
· Review, edit, and submit invoices via eBilling vendors;
· Monitor and research status of eBills submitted, identify issue and works with colleagues to address rejections and reductions as they arise; update administrative application with current status;
· Coordinate with colleagues and client to resolve unsuccessful electronic bill submissions and collaborates with collections team to address and resubmits invoices as appropriate to eBilling vendors;
· Review Client guidelines against finance application to ensure billing instructions are current and adhere to client and attorney protocol;
· Provide overflow support to billing team members to assist with eBill submission, rejections, timekeeper and rate submission via eBilling vendors;
· Submit monthly accruals for eBilled clients;
· Assist with converting clients to electronic billing; knowledge of various LEDES template formats, and can assist billers with navigating the various eBilling vendor sites;
· Works overtime as required, in particular at month end and year end; and
· Handles additional billing projects as assigned.
Proficiencies
· Knowledge of various eBilling vendors (e.g., Legal Tracker, T360, Collaborati);
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and methods;
· Proficiency in windows and web-based accounting programs (3E preferred);
· Proficiency in Excel;
· Fundamental proficiency in Word and Outlook;
· Proficiency in the English language, written and spoken; and
· Organized, professional, analytical and capable of solving problems.
Qualifications
· University degree or equivalent in accounting or related field (preferred);
· At least 2 years of general accounting experience (required);
· At least 2 years of legal eBilling experience (preferred); and
· At least 2 years of law firm experience (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
