Requirements:
- State Licensing: Must hold current licensing in all states where Peace Home Lending is licensed.
- Commute: Ability to commute to the office 1-2 times weekly within a reasonable distance.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Loan Officer Duties:
- Handle incoming calls for new loan applications.
- Verify the accuracy of applications before issuing prequalification/preapproval letters.
- Obtain and import credit reports, review/update Form 1003, price loans, and procure title fees.
- Prepare and send estimates to borrowers, reviewing them thoroughly and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Create a needs list for preapproval review, subject to supervisor approval.
- Review incoming documents, securely upload them to Encompass, and seek guidance from supervisor when necessary.
- Prepare files for processing post-ratification, including updating Form 1003 for any changes and verifying property ownership details.
- Assist in managing processing escalations and urgent matters.
- Conduct post-closing follow-ups.
Sales Duties:
- Support outreach efforts to potential borrowers and Realtors.
- Assist in managing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Collaborate in loan origination tasks.
- Issue estimates and preapproval letters as required for each client.
Assistant Duties:
- Administrative Support: Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as they arise, including both personal and business-related activities.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, managing both personal and professional calendars.
- Documentation and Filing: Organize and maintain documents, records, and correspondence for easy retrieval.
- Communication: Manage communications, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Errands and Logistics: Run errands and handle logistical arrangements for various tasks, such as travel planning and office supplies procurement.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects and tasks that support the smooth operation of both personal and business affairs.
- General Support: Provide general support and assistance as required to ensure efficient workflow and operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in loan origination or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination software (e.g., Encompass).
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks, including both personal and professional responsibilities.
