We are seeking a Full-Time Day Treatment Specialist with experience working in a residential group home for adults with mental health conditions.
Basic Responsibilities:

Develops intensive partial hospitalization programming designed to provide short-term, structured, and active treatments, which are problem-solving in nature and directed toward full or partial recovery.

Provides daily restorative partial hospitalization services designed to develop defined skills that aid in the transfer of the individual to a variety of community living environments to include employment, when possible.

Provides psycho-education around activities of daily living, interpersonal skills, adaptation to change, and Concentration, Task Performance or PACE

Identifies the recipient's skills, strengths and deficits in relation to the skill demands and supports required in the particular environment in which the recipient wants or needs to function.

Researches and develops engaging topics for informational discussions to be utilized to assist in group training.

Assists with medication administration as requested.
Education:
-
A Bachelor's degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, education, or a related human services field
An Associate’s degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, education, or a related human services field
Experience:
-
2 years of related experience that provides an individual with an understanding of mental illness that was acquired as an adult in the provision of significant supports to persons with mental illness, including the experience acquired by family members of persons with mental illness or by other persons who have personal knowledge of mental illness

Prefer 1 year of experience in a mental health setting

Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to learn necessary computer and technical skills essential to the position and Agency needs
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of and experience with an electronic medical record system

Prior experience in a community mental health environment

Ability to obtain and maintain Agency and/or State of New Hampshire required background check(s)
