Job Summary:
The role of this position is to interact with commercial flooring polish and epoxy Estimating, Operations and Accounting to ensure the successful support of completion of our commercial flooring projects. The position works directly with the owner in a support role. You will be responsible for aiding in the starting and closing out of jobs including obtaining and downloading blueprints, job set up, purchasing, insurance requirements, submittals, pre-lien set up, billing, change orders and close-outs. You will also be responsible for safety, onboarding of employees, ensuring PPE is purchased and handed out to field workers. This role is to ensure proper flow of estimating, job start and completion.
Duties:
-Download Blueprints and set up estimating to bid jobs
-Receive contracts from Estimators
-Send executed contracts and required documents (ins etc) to G.C.'s
-Set up jobs and track timelines (schedules) with G.C.'s
-Gather and send submittals
-Order materials/rent equipment
-Coordinate with operations to ensure timeline of projects are met and materials are available to start
-Track billing and change orders
-Track job expenses
-Complete closeout docs
-Onboard new employees and insure Safety training is complete
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as commercial flooring office manager or project manager
-In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project
management principles
-Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
-Good knowledge of MS Office
-Familiarity with construction/ project management software
-Outstanding communication and negotiation skill
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-A team player with leadership abilities
-8 years of commercial flooring office management experience
***Must have polish and epoxy commercial flooring experience***
