The Licensed Behavioral Health Data Coordinator at CFBHN is an integral part of the organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for data analysis of behavioral health services involving care coordination, as well as oversight of performance measures and other operational related data analysis. We require a Master’s degree along with a behavioral health license and at least three years of experience. The selected candidate will have superior computer skills along with the skills and ability to review analyze, trend and report utilization/care coordination data. Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, trend and report utilization/care coordination data of individuals receiving behavioral health services.
- Identify, recommend, and assist in implementing programmatic and system changes designed to further develop and improve system of care through acute care meetings, care coordination, etc.
- Provide training and technical assistance related to utilization management/care coordination.
- Assure compliance with provider and CFBHN contractual requirements, managing entity accreditation requirements, annual audit requirements and laws, regulations and rules that govern the provision of behavioral health services
- Ensures that reports (90% capacity, Waitlist, HNHU Reports, Template 21 and 32) are accurate and submitted timely.
- Review care coordination data and provide trends by presenting in internal and external meetings.
- Use strong analytical skills to transform data into actionable insights that support sustainability and growth
- Assist with voucher corrections, and regular removals/ changes in Carisk.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, public or business administration, public health or related field or registered nurse
- Behavioral health license LMHC, LCSW, LMFT
- Three years’ experience in utilization management or human services program management that includes oversight of admissions, census, discharges, and budget.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
- Exceptional skills in utilization data analysis
- Understanding of different funding sources for behavioral health care (Medicaid, commercial insurance) as well as state and federal funding
- In-depth understanding of system of care principles and values
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to the provision of mental health and substance services
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of collaborative quality improvement processes
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems.
- Identify data quality issues through analysis and working with departments to resolve data inconsistencies.
- Ability to use complex expressions to group, filter, calculate, and format custom reports.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite as applicable to the position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel as required by the position
