Objectives:
Manage unscheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance of company equipment, including intake of repair events, and planning maintenance of the unit. Coordinate repairs between Operator, vendor repair shops and communicate with Operations Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Taking calls from Vendor and internal Customers document their issues, aid in pre-diagnosis, and determine the best cost-saving location for repairs. Be able to verbally explain repair.
Be a liaison between the Western and vendors, to ensure repairs are processed correctly, provide estimates, and get updates about the repairs. Review service/repair estimates for accuracy & control and minimize unnecessary costs on Western behalf. Develop strong working relationships with other operational team members as well as the outside vendors.
To be effective, you will need to possess high energy, strong work ethic, effective communication, organizational skills, and computer skills (typing, documentation, understanding of billing).
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Effective problem solving and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Customer service experience over phone Previous experience as a technician / mechanic, Service writer, warranty administrator
communication skills, written, oral. typing skills (30+ wpm) is preferred and phone skills. Team oriented and able to take direction while effectively managing accounts with minimal supervision Capacity to learn & increase mechanical knowledge Proficient in basic computer skill Manage and coordinate equipment breakdown issues by locating authorization outside vendors Advise practical business solution for breakdown events Track resolution time frame Relay Maintenance information and Timeline for solutions.
