JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Pool Attendant
Nature of the Job
Basic Purpose & Objective of the Position
To carry out daily operations in the pool area to provide a positive guest experience. Coordinate and execute daily activities.
Main Duties
Customer Services

Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.

Provides excellent service to internal customers.

Handles all guest and employee complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Communicates immediately all guest and employee complaints to the Pool Manager.

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Financial
-
Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to money handling and licensing are adhered to.
Operational
-
Provides exceptional guest service.

Daily cleaning and upkeep of Recreation facility.

Supervision of the waterslide, cabanas and towel hut operations.

Ensures guest safety by enforcing all rules.

Facilitates daily activities
People Development
-
Supports Swire Hotels’ cultural and people development implementations and characteristics.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
-
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
-
At least 6 months experience in service-related position.
-
Able to become certified in basic CPR and First Aid.
-
Okay to work in various weather conditions: extreme heat, cold, rain, sun, etc.
-
Must be comfortable in and around pools.
