Purpose: This role is a working manager position responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of all mitigation projects by ensuring that high-quality work is completed on time and within budget, creating high productivity and efficiency to meet the goals of the organization.
Summary: The Mitigation Manager is responsible for all categories of water damages, mold remediation, fire/smoke damage, structural cleaning/demo, emergency board-ups, and trauma jobs. In addition, they will provide staff support to user departments in the form of consultation, information, and services related to staffing, training, documentation, inventory, equipment purchases, and maintenance, record keeping, housekeeping, and employee relations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day scheduling of all mitigation division work utilizing available mitigation employee staff in such a manner to achieve target profit margins. Profit margin goal expectations will be set by Branch Manager.
- Manage on-call schedule for lead technicians and technicians for after-hours emergencies. Responsible for staffing all emergencies as needed.
- Must train staff and fully utilize DASH software, desktop and mobile app, as directed by Branch Manager. Responsible for maintaining all mitigation projects in DASH.
- Assist Client Care Coordinator with obtaining pertinent job and customer information as needed.
- Must train and mentor all mitigation staff to achieve full potential from all technicians. Training to include "Best Practice" training in the shop, and on job sites.
- Responsible for coordinating weekly safety meetings for all mitigation staff.
- Assist Branch Manager in regular mitigation staff reviews.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years experience in mitigation or disaster restoration management
- Knowledge of water, fire and mold mitigation, cleaning and environmental
- Knowledge of residential/ commercial restoration.
- Natural leader with experience managing crews
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer literacy, primarily with MS Office products
- Certified through IICRC (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT)
- Must be a self-starter that has the ability to work autonomously and with a team
- Great attitude and career minded
- Xactimate experience a plus

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 DOE, plus commissions!
