Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' hearing and balance disorders Administer hearing tests and interpret the results to determine the extent of hearing loss
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and communication strategies
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or related field
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the auditory system
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using aseptic techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to analyze test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
