JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. Registered Nurses will provide 24/7 on site coverage of a 12-bed adolescent PRTF and a small 4-6 bed young adult RTFA. The Nurse is responsible for oversight and provision of medication administration and medication monitoring; oversight and coordination of physical health of residents; provision of metabolic screenings; vitals; restraint oversight and following assessments and collaboration with RTF team including psychiatrist.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful completion of RN program and active PA RN license in good standing.

Experience in behavioral health care

Valid driver's license required

Own an insured vehicle for personal use

COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required
SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Be knowledgeable and comply with DPW’s 55 PA Code Chapter 3800 (Child Residential and Day Treatment Facilities Regulations) and OMHSAS’s memo date November 1995: Requirements for Residential Treatment Facilities for Adults.

Be knowledgeable and comply with CARF, CBH, PRTF and DHS requirements/regulations.

Provide and ensure all aspects of Medication Administration and Medication Monitoring, to include trainings, coordination with pharmacy and collaboration with RTF psychiatrist are completed in a timely, comprehensive manner.

Provide therapeutic interventions for the residents including crisis de-escalation techniques; conflict resolution skills and improvement of communication skills.
