Scope of Work
This position responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, keeping track of all cash and credit transactions and managing of the guest who are checking into the facility. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.
Work Hours
Work hours vary based on the scheduled or contracted events and include weekday, weekend and holiday hours including daytime, afternoon and evening hours. Dependability and flexibility in work availability is required.
Essential Job Functions
- Reports to work on time for each shift with a professional appearance and in full uniform
- Trusted and responsible for proper handling of large sums of money
- Assisting guest to their tables
- Greet all customers who enter the building
- Assist customers with top tracer technology
- Adhere to security procedures and policies.
- Keep facility, employees, and patrons safe at all times and exercise proper safety procedures especially during inclement weather.
- Appropriately assist with customer inquires
- Organize and monitor driving range bays.
- Assist and perform monthly inventories.
- Assist with sales and promotions.
- Attend facility meetings
- Monitor and assist with the breakdown and resetting of facility for events
- Prepare, maintain and file accurate records and reports
Other Job Functions
- Maintains the cleanliness of work area
- Maintains a positive interaction and cooperation with Park District staff, the public and Facility patrons.
- Performs the job in compliance with Park District policies.
- Performs other event or banquet duties as directed
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
Requirements of Work
- A minimum age of 16 is required for this position
- Cash handling experience a plus
Knowledge of
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns as needed in a professional manner.
- General knowledge of safety, liability and risk management practices.
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot.

- Provide a high level of customer service to all guests in a friendly, courteous manner
