Position Overview: As an Expert at FEDlogic, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and families understand and enroll in the federal and state benefits available to them. Your expertise will guide clients through the intricate regulations, ensuring they receive the assistance they deserve. This position does not involve cold calling, selling, or commission-based work. Instead, you will have ample time to spend with a family to truly help them understand their options. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on federal and state benefits, including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans Administration programs.
- Assist clients in understanding their eligibility for various benefits and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Offer unbiased education and advocacy to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their options.
- Collaborate with a team of former federal and state adjudicators to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefit regulations and policies to ensure accurate and effective guidance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in adjudicative and leadership roles at Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the Veterans Administration, or significant time on Tribal Council.
- Deep understanding of federal and state benefit programs and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Passion for helping individuals and families access the benefits they deserve.
