Job Title: Business Analyst - Finance
Hours: 40 per week
Hybrid: Mason Location 3x a week (T/W/Th)

GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Business Analyst - Finance is responsible for analyzing business data to support results reporting and decision-making. This role involves developing testing scenarios to reflect data changes requested by customers, and working on projects such as the analysis of reports/data and data maintenance based on business rules.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
- Proven track record of providing analytical business solutions ranging from ad hoc to major BI projects.
- 2-3 years of experience in analytical and business system solutions in retail, manufacturing, or insurance.
- Experience with retail or relational systems preferred.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform configuration functions as requested through the request system.
- Execute and validate data testing, including other system interfaces.
- Work with data structures to support POS enhancements.
- Maintain a repository of stores reflecting POS configurations.
- Periodically coordinate testing efforts, including Store/OD Systems and Store Builds in the configuration environment.
- Research and analyze store/doctor office enhancement logs and issues received from the Support Center.
- Create/Clone new stores on an as-needed basis provided by Store Design.
- Update correct tax rate for store builds and tax audits.
- Identify and document business rules and requirements.
- Analyze multiple situations and issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Effectively communicate issues and risks to cross-functional and management teams.
