Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and meats.
- Assist in the cooking and preparation of various dishes according to recipes or instructions.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure that food is cooked and prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Line Cook or Prep Cook is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
