We are currently seeking a highly motivated Receptionist in our Charleston office for a part time position.
Responsibilities:

Operate a multi-line telephone console to relay incoming, outgoing and intra-system calls

Direct telephone calls to appropriate attorneys and staff

Meet and greet clients and visitors to the law office
-
Receive and record deliveries to the firm and/or individuals in the firm
-
Schedule and maintain records for use of conference rooms
-
Phone scheduling depositions, mediations, court reporters, etc.
- File production

Process check requests
-
Additional duties as assigned by project or need
Requirements:
-
At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist/secretary, office administration or related position is preferred.

Legal experience desired.

Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate by telephone and in person with visitors, attorneys and staff.

Strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other legal software applications.

Candidate must be flexible with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes:

Keen attention to detail and organization.

Thorough understanding of the litigation process.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....)

Professional demeanor, excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
