The HR Generalist we seek will be an energetic, self-starter that has a passion for employee engagement, recognition, and employee relations. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. This role has a heavy emphasis on employee relations so strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED is required
- At least 2-3 years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits and employee relations - healthcare experience highly desirable
- Ability to work towards quick and fair resolution of employee concerns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- FMLA, STD, LTD and Workers Comp claim filing and follow up
- New hire processing
- Coordinate open enrollment and changes for employee benefits
- 401k monthly enrollment
- 401k bi-weekly funding
- 401k auditing
- Maintain employment files
- I9 maintenance
- Maintain up to date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
- Employee handbook maintenance
- Benefit handbook maintenance
- Maintain employee personnel records
- Conduct exit interviews
- Respond to HR related inquiries
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in HR, payroll, benefits and employee relations
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
