As an Office Associate, you will:
- Provide administrative support to Biochemistry Department faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students.
- Act as coordinator/contact person for Biochemistry classes including coordinating textbooks, enrollment, grade rosters, and faculty course evaluations.
- Act as point of contact for department, answering telephones and greeting visitors. Departmental website editor/coordinator.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma plus four years relevant office or business experience required. Additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and general office equipment necessary.
- PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and database software program skills essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and accurate with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and to work within established procedures.
- Experience with website updates/maintenance.
