General Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile financial information
- Analyze current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Liaise with management to improve financial procedures
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

- Prepare and analyze the excess and obsolescence of inventory, capitalized variances, and other inventory-related analyses and entries
- Monitor and coordinate warehouse counting procedures and controls with regional and warehouse leaders
- Prepare global inventory flux analyses to be reviewed by management
- Reconcile company and global inventory balances to inventory subledgers
- Take part in controllership and oversight activities
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Partner with internal and external audit teams
- Assist corporate accounting team with other tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,411.00 - $99,000.00 per year
