Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Book Manager to join our team at Cardiff and Caerphilly Carpentry the Book Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, providing administrative support, and coordinating various projects and events. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents
- Manage remote (from home) front desk operations, including answering phones and replying to emails.
- Coordinate projects and ensure timely completion
- Plan and organize company events
- Provide exceptional customer support to clients and vendors
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Personal assistant skills to provide support to executives and team members
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for accurate financial record keeping
- Familiarity with Google Suite for document management and collaboration
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in written materials
- Experience with front desk operations and phone systems
- Project coordination abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Event planning skills to organize company events
- Excellent customer support skills to address client inquiries and concerns
- Strong organizational skills to maintain order in the workplace
