Overview:
This unique role combines the responsibilities of an Employee Services liaison with the duties of an Office Coordinator, offering a dynamic and multifaceted position. You'll be the go-to person for both employee relations and daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and positive experience for everyone.
Responsibilities:
o Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist with scheduling interviews, offer letters, onboarding new hires and offboarding employees.
o Benefits Administration: Help employees with benefits enrollment/annual open enrollment, answer questions about insurance plans, and process general claims.
o Employee Relations: Address general employee concerns and participate in employee relations initiatives.
o Payroll and Recordkeeping: Answer general questions, maintain accurate employee records, process paperwork, and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
o Performance Management: Assist with performance reviews, maintain performance records, and coordinate training programs.
o HR Communication: Draft and distribute general employee related communications and prepare necessary reports.
o File worker’s compensation claims and maintain an annual worker’s comp log.
o Manage office supplies & equipment.
o Oversee building security and access control.
o Assist with necessary licensing compliance.
o Maintain a professional and organized office environment.
o Assist with the management of daily operations, team activities, with opportunities to lead special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related field (preferred)- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- ADP and/or iCIMS experience is a PLUS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Experience in office management functions.
