Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by assisting the Branch Manager with overseeing warehouse operations in a safe, secure, efficient and cost-effective manner that complies with company policy and OSHA, DOT and other applicable regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate with supervisors to cover all personnel needs daily.

Ensure and assist in the process that all orders are being expedited in a timely and accurate manner.

Assist in the training/hiring and termination process of personnel.

Supervise that all DOT paperwork is completed daily and accurately.

Review zone and product space requirements and make appropriate recommendations.

Monitor safety and procedures within the warehouse setting.
- Take on the responsibilities for inventory accuracy.
- Propose personnel and equipment needs.

Facilitate maintenance of lifting and cleaning equipment

Operate forklift in compliance with OSHA guidelines

Follow company policies and procedures.

Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the warehouse manager
Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience.

Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience.

Strong customer service and/or problem-solving skills.
-
Available to work weekday or weekend overtime as required.

Strong judgement and decision-making ability

Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to employees daily.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours

Ability to work at heights of 28 feet

Frequent stooping, squatting, stretching, bending and lifting are required to reach inventory items.

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
