The Department of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist with an academic orientation. This is a full-time tenure faculty position with the expectation that the successful candidate will help to support the department’s clinical research and education missions and will cover clinics in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. . Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to accredited radiation oncology residency, medical physics residency, and radiation therapy technology programs, the department has active clinical programs in brachytherapy, pediatric radiotherapy, total skin electron irradiation, total body irradiation, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery. Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy has been a major research thrust of the department. The department is active in basic radiation biology, and physics research as well as clinical research with an emphasis on investigator-initiated trials.
