Slabe Machine Products is looking to add a CNC Mill Machinist to our growing staff! Slabe Machine has been in business for over 80 years and is a leader in the Aerospace and Defense field here in Willoughby, Ohio! We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking to add more talent to this already amazing team!
We have one opening on 2nd shift! 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 2:30 am giving you Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

Set-up and operate for diversified work on one or more CNC machines involving intricate tooling and a wide range of unusual operations.
- Work with close tolerances.
- Knowledge in tooling, tool wear, operational sequences including multiple work holdings, and programming editing.
- Plan and layout work, devise methods for machining intricate parts, and diagnose and remedy operating and tooling problems.
- Obtain a high level of production and maintain quality standards.
- Must be able to explain work and assist operators if requested by supervisor.

Setup of milling machines
- Responsible for the correct fixturing on milling machines to ensure parts are to blueprint and quality requirements.
- To efficiently set-up and operate milling machines and ensure that the proper inspection measurement gauging is present.
- Must record all appropriate documentation such as SPC & Visual Dimensional Requirements.
- Assist operators in troubleshooting machine issues.
- To present any and all problems to Dept. Supervisor.
