Maintenance & Equipment Engineer
Position Overview:
The Maintenance & Equipment Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of plant equipment, troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems as well as developing preventative maintenance procedures. This position works with the Quality Control team on developing production work instructions and ensuring the highest quality of output. The Maintenance & Equipment Engineer will be using advanced Root-Cause Analysis and will be required to use PLC Programming.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance of plant equipment and machinery

Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues

Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance procedures

Developing production work instructions

Performing Root-Cause Analysis and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles

Supporting the Quality Control team with any required documentation

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Utilizing PLC Programming for automation of processes

Maintaining camera systems
Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Previous experience as a Methods, Equipment and/or Technical Engineer

Advanced knowledge of PLC Programming and automation processes

Highly skilled in Root-Cause Analysis and PDCA cycles

Awareness of health and safety regulations

Knowledge of camera systems is a plus

Proficiency in MS Office

Base salary: $75k-$95k (DOE)
