Position Title: Inventory Control Associate
Reports To: IFS Information Systems Manager
JOB SCOPE: The Inventory Control Associate will ultimately be responsible for the training of plant staff and continued assistance in identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies. The individual will perform and assist in cycle counts to resolve inventory discrepancies. They will work with various teams to correct procedures or create new internal procedures preventing inventory errors. Other duties consist of researching inventory issues and communicating to supervisors and plant management staff on new and follow-up training needs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed primarily remotely and on the road. Traveling at least two weeks of the month is REQUIRED. When at a company plant, exposure to loud noises and loose particles is anticipated. Work performed in the plants requires exposure to cool and warm temperatures. Employees are required to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support production scheduling, utilizing inventory reporting in a manner that allows meeting productivity targets.

Investigate inventory inaccuracies in all manner of inventory transactions, identifying root cause of issue. Document/report findings. Work with personnel to implement solutions via training, process modification, etc.

Develop, implement, document, and train on new and existing inventory processes.

Maintain inventory reconciliation departmental metrics/spreadsheets.

Effectively run remote learning change processes.

Provide ERP system on-call support.

Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP's, and HACCP.

Report all safety violations and hazards to the supervisor immediately and participate in all safety programs and procedures. Must always wear required PPE.

Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor to be accepted with a positive and professional attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold a valid driver's license.

Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check.)

Minimum High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred.

General knowledge of inventory management in a manufacturing environment.

4+ years of manufacturing and/or data maintenance experience.

Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities/tasks.

Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required.

Travel to all domestic locations (South Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas & California) - Travel can range from 1 week to 3 weeks monthly. Travel is required.
