Job Summary
Manually operate lab extraction equipment such as the MEP70, Prescott Mini, ovens, water baths etc.. Provide daily care of lab equipment as well as routine maintenance schedules. Provide quality care and attention to detail in the extraction process. Duties may include working in a group in a day’s extraction, operating equipment by your lonesome, cleaning and handling glassware, safely caring for dry ice and solvents, keeping the spaces you work in clean and organized.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) (required)
Cannabis Science and Education certificate (preferred)
Experience in a lab setting (preferred)
Experience in horticulture, manufacturing facilities, or fast paced places of production (preferred)

Work Setting – Laboratory setting, around dangerous solvents and high pressure.
Job Hazards - Use of chemicals such as bleach, Butane, Ethanol, and Isopropyl alcohol, as well as high temperatures and pressures, glassware, low vacuum.
Work Attire – Scrubs/lab coat, PPE (Face masks, gloves, hair net, beard net, respirator, closed toed shoes)
