- Compensation: Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000; this position also qualifies for a monthly car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development and Management:
- Lead the charge in designing, development, and implementation of comprehensive adult career and technical education programs, encompassing a range of industry-relevant skills and certifications.
- Cultivate a culture of lifelong learning, inspiring adult learners to embrace curiosity and pursue knowledge and industry recognized credentials with unbridled enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, educators, industry partners, and community organizations to identify emerging trends, industry needs, and employment opportunities.
- Collaborate with our team of dedicated educators and career counselors to provide holistic support to our learners, guiding them on their journey towards meeting personal and career objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of adult education programs, ensuring quality, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Managing and development of vocational training certification that lead to industry recognized credentials.
- Design and implementation of a comprehensive client Intake, Assessment and Employability Plan process.
- Working closely with management to ensure training policies, programs and processes are developed, implemented, communicated and consistently administered in compliance with organizational objectives and with relevant laws/regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining OIC’s credentialing licensure with Florida Department, Commission for Independent Education (CIE), including preparation of annual and bi-annual application.
Strategic Planning and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a strategic vision for adult career and technical education initiatives, with a focus on expanding access, enhancing program quality, and fostering innovation.
- Conduct ongoing needs assessments and Labor Market analyses to inform programmatic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Establish short-term and long-term goals, objectives, and performance metrics to measure program success and impact.
- Continually identifying training approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services.
- Collaborating with Employment & Business Services Managers and all other members of management team in order to deliver relevant trainings for all OIC stakeholders and students.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required based on the needs of the business.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in adult career & technical education, continuously evolving and adapting our programs to meet the needs of our learners.
Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with employers, industry associations, government agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to support programmatic goals and enhance job placement outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, advocating for the needs and interests of adult learners and promoting collaborative opportunities for workforce development.
Team Leadership and Professional Development:
- Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of educators, administrators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support staff development initiatives, including training, coaching, and professional growth opportunities, to enhance individual and collective performance.
Financial Management and Resource Mobilization:
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
- Work closely with a team to Identify and pursue funding opportunities through grants, contracts, partnerships, and donor engagement to sustain and expand adult education programs.
Evaluation and Reporting:
- Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks to assess program outcomes, participant satisfaction, and impact on career advancement and economic mobility.
- Generate regular reports and data-driven insights to inform programmatic decision-making, demonstrate accountability to funders and stakeholders, and showcase program effectiveness.
- Conceptualizes and plans appropriate research and data analysis of workforce employment trends. Identifies legislation and industry changes preparing briefs and reports.
- Conducts periodic employer assessments, client achievement data and survey data, including longitudinal analyses and inferential analysis.
