San Diego Elder Law Center/Philip Lindsley, APLC, is growing and is looking for a paralegal with not less than 2 years of recent experience in trusts and estates to join our team. Similar experience in family law will also be considered. This is a full-time position with good benefits. We are a very well-respected firm with 4 attorneys and 4 paralegals. We have a stable staff with an excellent chemistry and a team-oriented attitude.
We have a broad-based trust and estate practice, with an emphasis on elder, incapacity, and special needs matters. This position, however, is for a paralegal familiar with probate, conservatorships, and trust administration. Successful candidate should possess the following skills:
· Readily familiar with drafting and filing of pleadings related to trust/probate administration and conservatorships;
· Working knowledge of Probate Code, Local and State Rules of Court;
· Knowledge of rules and procedures of pleading and practice in estate administration of court supervised matters;
· Good to Excellent computer skills;
· Self-Starter able to manage caseload from start to finish;
· Excellent phone skills, and the ability to develop and nurture client relationships.
