Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Retail Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing store staff and promoting a positive work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Train and mentor new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and company policies
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock audits
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met to enhance the overall store appearance
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail management is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent sales management abilities with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Knowledge of employee orientation and training techniques
- Proficient in math for cash handling and inventory management purposes
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
