ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Your essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Collaborate with others to determine functional and non-functional product requirements;
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to integration and overall feasibility;
Participate or lead specialized projects with other functional groups as required;
Assist in the overall development and maintenance of the MiFILE system;
Demonstrate high technical competency in all areas of OnBase API offerings;
- Understand MiFILE, the API services, case management systems, and how they all interact;
Understand business requirements and how the APIs can be used to meet those requirements;
Collaborate with API architects and developers in creating and maintaining API documentation;
Meet with internal and external clients to gather requirements for building API resources that meet the needs of our stakeholders;
Work with various teams to refine API governance, analytics and monitoring solutions;
Understand REST fundamentals and API design best practices;
Follow industry best practices and software development life cycle methodologies;
Participate in Agile ceremonies and practices such as pairing, continuous integration, retrospectives, and backlog refinement;
Maintain and expand professional and technical knowledge through research, training, and empirical testing; and
Any other duties assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or, college level coursework or equivalent combination of education and experience in analyzing, designing, testing, and documenting production systems;
2+ years of managing and developing enterprise solutions in Hyland’s OnBase platform;
2+ years of software development and coding in various languages (C#, Java, .NET, etc.);
1+ years of interface development involving OnBase;
Familiar with REST fundamentals and API design best practices;
API design tools, such as SwaggerHub or Stoplight;
API Management platforms, such as Microsoft Azure API Management or Google Apigee;
Agile development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, backlog refinement, and retrospectives;
Hyland Developer Specialist (previously OCAPI) – preferred;
OnBase Administrator (previously OCSA or OCASA) – preferred;
OnBase WorkView Administrator (previously OCWV) – preferred;
OnBase Workflow Administrator (previously OCWA) – preferred;
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
Facilitate working meetings, elicit and solicit information, and absorb the information being communicated; facilitate a shared understanding of the problem, possible solutions, and scope of the project in its entirety; facilitate solutions to technical challenges among multiple teams when they involve negotiation between multiple business and technical stakeholders;
Apply critical thinking skills to determine the appropriateness of requests, with periodic reviews of business procedures to clarify or change a business process. Use the knowledge gained in the daily operational procedures as input to business process and procedure documentation;
Prioritize across multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines; and
Family members consider you to have a good sense of humor.
The salary for this position depends upon your qualifications, experience, skill levels, technical competencies, and other criteria. Straight-time overtime is occasionally available.
