Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our team on a full-time Temporary basis, providing support at our San Luis Obispo health clinic location. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for offering comprehensive front and back-office assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of our healthcare facilities. This temporary job opportunity is expected to last 4 to 6 months, depending on business needs, and dates may change.

- Graduate of a Medical Assistant certification program.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficient in medication administration.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care.
- Familiarity with Basic Life Support procedures.
- Experience working in a clinical setting and ability to work at different sites is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare providers.
- Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Schedule appointments and manage medical records.
