Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical well-being. This position is based in a hospital setting and requires expertise in various areas, including pediatrics and trigger point therapy. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions - Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals - Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to promote healing and improve mobility - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient treatments and progress Skills: - In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Strong understanding of various physical therapy techniques and modalities - Ability to provide effective patient care with empathy and compassion - Proficiency in working with pediatric patients - Experience in trigger point therapy is highly desirable - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex patient cases - Ability to work in an acute care hospital environment Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist - CPR certification (BLS) - Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
