Richmond Ballet, the State Ballet of Virginia, seeks an Administrative Coordinator to join a dynamic and diverse team of arts professionals at one of the country’s most admired and accomplished regional ballet companies.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the School of Richmond Ballet's Adult Division, RB Studio Company & Trainee programs, all SRB Summer programs, the Education Department’s social media accounts, and other SRB Satellite programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Main contact and administrator for the Adult Division, overseeing all schedules and enrollment, and handling all aspects of Mind Body
2. Coordinates all Summer Programs such as the Summer Intensive, day camps, and satellite camps.
3. Creates Education Social Media calendar, content, and posts on social media with approval from the School Director
4. Serves as the main contact for the RB Trainee & Studio Company Program and handles all administrative support such as agreements, daily schedules, work-study schedules/ materials, and ushering assignments
5. Handles all SRB marketing elements such as schedules for ads, materials, website updates, and budget
6. Handles all Ballet Birthday Parties agreements, coordination with staff and Trainees, and any other details
7. Coordinates and schedules all Pre-School programs with Pre-Schools and staff, handles contracts, and helps identify new pre-schools each year
8. Acts as the main contact and administrator for Master Classes
9. Knowledgeable in Studio Director & Mindbody
10. Serves as Community Studios Liaison
11. Helps backstage at The Nutcracker and SRB End of the Year Performances
12. Participates in weekly SRB staff meetings, RB staff meetings, and monthly Education Dept. meetings
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Experience and passion in working with youth and with youth programs
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team
· A belief in and enthusiasm for Richmond Ballet’s mission
· Imaginative, creative, and responsive attitude toward youth and community engagement
· High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team; focused and goal-oriented, with a high level of initiative and energy
· Proficient using Microsoft Office
· Ability to work weekends and evenings
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of previous customer service and administrative experience
- Prior dance/theatre experience preferred

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
