Typical applicants have a background in OR enjoy one of the following: sports, acting, coaching, or teaching.
OVERVIEW: As an Apex Team Member you will work on a team of 2-3, going into Austin area elementary schools to inspire kids through key leadership lessons, and facilitate a Fun Run. The Apex Leadership Co program is a leadership-driven and fitness promoting fundraiser which includes: teacher huddle, pep rally, in-class leadership lessons, and setting up and hosting the Fun Run. Apex team members go home each day knowing they've made a positive difference in the world around them.
Schedule: Typical hours are from 7:00am-3:30 pm Mon-Fri, and generally follow the public school schedule. No nights or weekends!
Opportunity for advancement to Team Leader and more based on performance. We will train and develop Team Members for the eventual goal of becoming a Team Leader. Team Leaders earn a year round salary, but still have school breaks off!

ABOUT THE JOB: Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Set up and manage aspects of the Apex Leadership Co program (school prep, kick-off/pep rally, leadership lesson days, fundraising, race day) in the schools you are assigned
Track performance against performance metrics on a daily and program basis
Troubleshoot daily challenge(s) (with a smile on your face) at the school with School Staff and Parents
Perform leadership program lessons to students
Manage inventory and items needed for successful program
HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!
MORE DETAILS: Availability during (and occasionally beyond) normal school hours is required. Normal hours worked are around 35-40 per week.
