Pharmacy Technician Duties and responsibilities
- Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
- Calculating the price of prescriptions
- Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance.
- Stocking the pharmacy with inventory
- Supporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy
- Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies
- Disbursing completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
- Answering incoming calls and fielding patient questions
- Maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules, and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of handling Prior- Authorizations and knowledge to interchange medicines
- Create and maintain patient and physician profiles.

Education and training requirements
- Must be a registered pharmacy technician or certified pharmacy technician.
- Able to pass a level II background check – (No criminal background)
- Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire and maintain clean drug-free testing at random.
- High School Diploma.
- Basic math skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
