Role & What We're Looking For:
As an MD Generalist with navigation experience, you will play a pivotal role in our startup company, contributing valuable insights and delivering outstanding results. This position requires a candidate who is licensed to practice medicine in any of the 50 US states and possesses a strong background in both operations and clinical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Work: Provide direct patient care remotely, leveraging telehealth platforms to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across a wide range of medical conditions.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement operational strategies aimed at optimizing workflow efficiency, patient outcomes, and overall organizational success.
- Navigation Experience: Utilize your expertise in healthcare navigation to guide patients through complex medical systems, ensuring seamless coordination of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff, to coordinate patient care plans and facilitate effective communication among healthcare providers.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines and standards, maintaining compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
What You'll Bring:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience or recent completion of a gerontology fellowship.
- Board Certification: Board-certified in a relevant specialty ( family medicine or internal medicine, with a keen interest in geriatrics).
- Valid DEA certification.
- Strong clinical and organizational skills. You manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards in communication and documentation.
- State Licensure: in CA, TX, or FL; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
- Operational Acumen: Demonstrated ability to contribute to operational initiatives and drive process improvement efforts within a healthcare setting.
- Telemedicine Skills: Proficiency in telehealth technologies and platforms, with the ability to deliver high-quality remote patient care.
- Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients remotely.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare delivery.
