Job Summary
Installs, configures, and tests Middleware, Server, Virtualization, and Security products, systems, infrastructure and tools including Windows Servers, Edge Compute solutions, and vendor-provided solutions. Tailors products, systems software, infrastructure and tools to maximize functionality. Investigates and coordinates the resolution of potential and actual service problems. Prepares and maintains operational documentation. Advises on the correct and effective use of various supported products, systems software and operating systems, infrastructure, and tools, including Windows endpoints, network solutions, and various peripherals. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Identifies and resolves issues relating to applications and infrastructure. Applicants will be required to engage in ongoing background checks through the duration of this position with continued passing results.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Plans own service request work to meet given objectives and processes. Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability. Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.
- Performs project related work and makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives. Plans, schedules and monitors own work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant procedures.

- Performs a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts, selecting appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications. Participates in external activities related to own specialism.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 1 or more years of experience in systems administration
Equivalent Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4 or more years of experience in formation Systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 4 or more years of experience in formation Systems, Transportation/Intermodal Operations or Logistics
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to use an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
- Ability to communicate fluently orally and in writing, and present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to rapidly absorb new technical information and apply it effectively
- Has a good appreciation of the wider field of information systems, their use in relevant employment areas and how they relate to business activities
- Knowledge of specific technical specialists, with an ability to provide detailed advice regarding their application and execution of specialized tasks
